We are writing this post as our monthly update on our progress starting the Brilliant Tech Farmer website, where we sell seeds, teach farmers how to grow their own food and interview Agro entrepreneurs on how they started.
We will be writing this progress report on a monthly basis to celebrate our project anniversary, milestones and it will also serve as a meduim to say “thank you to our growing family of users.
We will be setting goals for each month, and review them in the next month to see if we achieved them.
Today is June 30th, and it is our 1 month Anniversary.
What is Brilliant Tech Farmer All About?
Brilliant Tech Farmer sells premium vegetable seeds, teaches farmers the right way to grow their own food and interviews Agro entrepreneurs on how they got started.
Today, we make it so much easier for farmers to learn how to grow any kind of food and start any type of Agro business with thousands of business ideas, side projects, resources and tools we share here.
We sincerely hope that the ideas, stories, resources and interviews are worthwhile and give you the needed knowledge and inspiration as well as insight to start growing your own food or launch an Agro business.
Our goal as a team is to make premium seeds and the knowledge to grow them available to farmers across Africa and encourage them to embrace Agro Entrepreneurship.
We will make this possible by:
- Produce high-quality educational gardening content.
- Produce high quality interviews on Agro Business.
- Build community of gardeners with the mindset to grow their own food.
- Network and learn from Agro entrepreneurs.
- And of course -Make money sometime in the future
Our June 30th 2024
Progress Report:
Users: 522
You can see the spike from May 30th 2024 till 8th June 2024 was just flat till 9th June when the spike went up after we got a portion of our distribution sorted out.
Subscribers: 10
We think this is low because we didn’t launch it at the beginning. We added this 6 days ago. However, we are happy for them. This came from our Facebook Community.
Sessions: 870
Total session rose from 0 to 870. This came after we figured out our distribution and started implementing it from the basic. Our community played a great role to this achievement too.
Event Counts: 7,600
The total activity or event performed on the platform also rose from 0 to 7600. A whopping total of 7600 actions taken from page views, to scroll, to click, to filling out a form.
Page Views: 1,900
Our page view also rose from 0 to 1900. As of the time of publishing this, we hit 2k page views. This awesome. The eyeballs are coming in.
Interviews:
We didn’t achieve our goal as we couldn’t publish any interviews.
Instead we spent our time reaching out to the Agro Enterprenuer.
We reached out to 5 Agro Entrepreneur, got an acceptance from 2 with 3 still pending.
We will be conducting the interview for the two and hopefully it will be published next month.
We think we failed to achieve this because we didn’t reach out to this entrepreneur as soon as we should.
We will do better as we are putting in the required work in streamlining the entire process of the interview.
Moving Forward:
As we stepped into the month of July, we will dedicate a little more time into achieving this goal we have set for it.
Our July Goal:
Here is our simple goal for July:
- 3,000 User.
- 4000 Sessions.
- 28 Articles.
- 100 mailing list subscribers.
- 12 total interviews
This might look like much. Yes, we know. But we know it is achievable with you.
