Grow bell peppers in containers: My story

In 2018, I made a whole lot of mistake trying to grow bell peppers in containers from my home. This mistakes, led to the lost of many of my seeds and caused my seedling to die. Why did this happened? Very simple; it was because i had little knowlegde in growing pepper.
I did not only lost money, I also lost time and effort. However, after experimenting for years, I have come to learn what works and what doesnt. These tips which I use, are what I will be sharing with you today.
But before we start, I will need you to know that to grow bell peppers in containers is very easy. Infact, it is the innovative and less expensive way to grow peppers especially if you are aan urban dwellers or you have a small garden.
However to get started with this innovative way, you need to have a few supplies of peper seeds and a bit of practical knowledge (know-how). But do not be scared. Whether you are an experienced gardener or an absolutely first time farmer or garden, the tips in this guide will help you successfully plant, grow, water and care for your bell plant till you harvest them.
Step 1: Choose your container.

The first step to grow bell peppers in containers from home starts from chosing your containers. Bell pepper plants grows so large, so using a large conatiner, pot or sack from the onset, will help you get started to the path of success. Step 2: Get a viable seed or seedling

Step 3: Fill out your container

Then, you can continue growing it under sun lights for 6 to 8 six to weeks. Your seed should not exceed ¼ inch depth into your potting mix. Even though that pepper are full sun light plant, exposing to sun light or outdoors too early will affect them. Bell peppers are sensitive to cold. This can kill your pepper and cause you great loss.
Step 5: Ensure you water your plant regularly.

Container-grown plants needs more water than ground grown plants. Therefore, peppers in containers can dry out faster than plants on ground. Just checking it with your hand is all it takes to determin if the soil is dry and needs water.
Step 6: Add manure or fertilizer

You need to feed your pepper plant. Choose between organic manure or fertilizer. If you want to with organic manure, then you should mix your potting mix or loamy soil with compost(animal dung) during planting stage. This will provide your peppers with nutrients and increase harvest yields. You can also choose to apply additional liquid during the growing season once every 2 to 4 weeks.
